Teaching Experiences And Qualification Types As Determinants Of School-based Assessment Competences Among Secondary Schools Teachers In Rivers State
The study investigated the extent teachers across different teaching experiences and qualification types show competencies in the school-based assessment skills. The investigation was carried out using descriptive survey in a 4x2 multivariate analysis of variance using data obtained from 525 teachers in Rivers State drawn by multi-stage sampling method(proportionate, disproportionate random sampling, purposive and accidental sampling method). Data were collected from an instrument tagged Teachers’ Assessment Competency Scale (TACS).
