Abstract: The importance of FDI in Nigeria as a key to economic independence and growth cannot be over emphasized. Evidences from the literature show that Nigeria is attracted to resource-seeking and market-seeking FDI while little or no evidence shows her potential to attract efficiency-seeking FDI. This study is to breach this gap. The regression results show that all the components of HCD excepts the primary school enrolment have positive impact on the inflow of FDI. The following policies are recommended: promotion of education at all levels and more of private sector participation; expansion of GDP; promoting peaceful co-existence and developing the nation’s infrastructure.
