The art education and general education have the same origin. Although specialization of art education is inevitable of the times, but the it also brings the alienation between the art education and the other culture, science and technology education. Art education takes on the momentum of prosperity in China, but there appears utilitarian tendency with high specialization and instrumentalization. Although general education of art majors draws much attention, it gets little avail. While, art general education of non-art majors has not been commonly emphasized. Strengthening the art education should establish the scientific concept of the art education, and establish personnel training system
