The objective of this study was to find out measures not employed by secondary schools in Masaba South District of Kisii County to prevent alcohol and drug abuse. The research instruments that were employed were questionnaires, document analysis and interviews. Questionnaires were employed for form three students. Documents analyzed included; school policy documents containing school rules and regulations, official discipline letters to students, minutes emanating from the staff, P.T.
