Potential Life Style Changes For Pahs Health Implications In Women Of Rural Areas In Nigeria
Objective: PAHs are a group of chemicals that are formed during the incomplete burning of coal, oil, gas, wood, garbage, or other organic substances, such as tobacco and charbroiled meat. The awareness levels of the health effects of exposure to PAHs compounds as highlighted by previous studies cannot be over emphasized. Hence the need for this specifically focused study on uneducated women living in rural areas of Nigeria, to find out their willingness to make simple life style changes that could reduce exposure on the health effects of PAH(s).
