A study has been carried out to determine the level of coverage, awareness and the level of household ownership of Insecticide Treated bed nets (ITNs) in Calabar metropolis, Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was the instrument for data collection from 440 households. The level of awareness and the ownership of ITNs among the respondents were high in the study: 78.64% and 57.27% respectively. In the two Local government areas surveyed: Calabar South and Calabar Municipality, aawareness was higher in the latter (45.91%) than the former (32.73%).
