The study was aimed at determining attitude of pregnant women towards the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV in Ikot Omin, Calabar Municipality, Cross River State. The survey design was adopted. Data were generated through questionnaire, FGD and in-depth interview (IDI). The total respondents involved in the study were Eighty four (84). Data collected through the questionnaire were analyzed using ANOVA while summaries of FGD and IDI formed part of discussion of findings. The findings revealed that attitude of pregnant women influence the prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV.
