Students Performance In Economics At Wassce In Jos Metropolis Of Plateau State Nigeria: A Binomial Logistic Regressions Approach
This study was conducted to estimate the probability of students’ passing in economics at WASSCE in Jos metropolis of Plateau state, Nigeria from 2004 to 2013. Two sets of survey instruments were used to collect data from both economics teachers and vice principal academics of the selected schools. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequency counts and percentages as well as binomial logistic regression models. The results show that no student made grade A in the 10 year period.
