This study was conducted to assess the contribution of indigenous poultry keeping to reductions of rural women’s income poverty in Morogoro District. Specifically, the study sought to examine the contribution of indigenous poultry production to rural women income; to determine income accrued from poultry and poultry products for income poverty reduction and to determine relationship of socio-economic characteristics and income from indigenous poultry production of rural women in Morogoro District.
