The study was conducted to examine the relationship between ethical governance and political accountability in Bushenyi District Local Government. The study was guided by three specific objectives: (i) to examine how ethical governance is practiced among the local government staff, (ii) to establish the extent to which political accountability in done in the district, and (iii) to examine the relationship between ethical governance and political accountability in the district. Two hundred seventy eight community respondents were randomly selected using slovens formula. Research findings revealed that the extent of ethical governance is still low in the district (general average mean = 2.50);
