Role Of Management Training On Managerial Career Development In Kenyan Three To Five Star Hotels
The research sought to explore the role of management training on managerial career development in Kenyan three to five star hotels. Cross-sectional survey employing both analytical and descriptive methods to address the objective was used. Stratified random sampling was used to classify hotels and purposive sampling used to select 108 managers. Data was collected using semi structured questionnaire, based on Likert Scale Rating. Regression coefficient indicated that one unit change in managerial training results in a 0.401 change in managerial career development, indicating that regardless of qualifications attained, career development within the industry is dependent on continuous training
