Test Anxiety And Academic Achievement Of Senior High School Students In The Agona Municipality Of Ghana
This study explored the relationship between test anxiety and academic achievement of third year Senior High School students in the Agona Municipality of Ghana using the descriptive cross-sectional survey design. Test Anxiety Scale (TAS), developed by Sarason (1978), r=0.80 and an authors’ self-developed questionnaire were used to measure test anxiety levels and attitude of 270 students randomly selected from five schools. Quantitative data gathered was analysed using Pearson Product-Movement correlation, linear regression, independent sample t-test and multiple regression to test study hypotheses.
