Remuneration strategies and systems of rewards have undergone speedy challenges over the years due to incessant demand by labour unions and instability in prices of goods and service in Nigeria. The study examined salary and wage administration in Bauchi State Public Service. Bauchi State Public service has witnesses’ series of salary scales which has tended to create disharmony and tension among the public servants that if care is not taken can be counterproductive. That is why the research is built on assessing salary disparities in Bauchi State Civil Service. Seven Public Servants were interviewed.
