The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). KWS has implemented the BSC but has not fully reaped the benefits of the BSC because of several factors. The research design used in this study was descriptive in nature. Using stratified sampling, a sample of 113 employees was selected. A semi structured questionnaire was administered and collected data analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences and results presented using tables and figures. The research revealed factors that have affected implementation of the BSC at KWS in the four perspectives of the BSC. Download
