Determinants Of Motivation Of Public Health Doctors- A Case Of A North Western State Of India
Problems of low motivation among health workers are remarkably common across countries at different levels of development. The factors which emerged out of the analysis and caused about 63% of the variance included - Organizational citizenship (3.236), followed by Supportive management (2.987), Policies of the government (2.838), Financial rewards (2.671), Resource availability (2.559) and last but not the least was Safety and Security (2.379). The government should lay emphasis on improving the aforesaid factors, to help increase the motivation of doctors working in the public health
