Drug abuse is not just a Western World problem but a global one. In Africa, the problem is becoming more rampant. In Kenya, researches continue to show escalating figures in the menace. Many media reports give a worrying trend in drug abuse. This research was carried out in Kitui County. The objectives were to investigate the extent to which drug abuse affects discipline in secondary schools and to establish parental participation in drug abuse counselling. The study used descriptive survey which enabled the researchers to gather information, summarize, present and interpret for the reasons of clarification.
