Foreign Direct Investment And Entrepreneurial Development In Nigeria (1990 - 2013)
Foreign direct investment (FDI) is seen as an important factor for entrepreneurial development as it brings not only capital but technology and knowledge that can spillover to domestic entrepreneurs, but the extent to which FDI has contributed to entrepreneurial activities in Nigeria is yet unclear. Hence, this study investigates the effect of FDI on entrepreneurial development in Nigeria. Model was specified to determine the effect of FDI on entrepreneurial development in Nigeria. In the model, entrepreneurial development is dependent variable while FDI, Export, Import, Exchange rate, Infrastructure, Political risk, Capacity utilization, and Technology are independent variables.
