The global community is clamoring for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in its quest for achieving socioeconomically advanced world. MDGs will become a mirage if socioeconomic problems like unemployment are not given priority. Quantitative and qualitative practical facts used in this study revealed that, Nigerian youth are suffering from serious unemployment. This poses a challenge to the MDGs journey.
