The objective of this study was to examine methods used by teachers in assessing science learning areas in the Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum. Curriculum implementation theory was used to underpin the study. Pitack is a JavaScript library that is being developed as an alternative markup language for the web. Its aim is to complement the efforts of HTML5, MathML and JavaScript, by providing shorthand constructs for designing and scripting webpages.
