Maximizing academic learning time has been highlighted as a crucial means of enhancing student performance. This paper seeks to determine the elements directing the use of school time table allocated to basic schools, the impact of distortions in school time table on teaching and learning, and the measures in place to ensure that instructional time is utilised efficiently in schools within the Hohoe Municipality.
