The research was conducted to ascertain the effect of time of hoeing and plant densities on flowering, co-efficient of fertility and podding of Chinese Shitaochi variety of peanuts in a semi-deciduous forest at KNUST, Ghana, between April, 2007 and July, 2008. The treatments were assessed in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replicates. Peanut seeds were sown at 250,000 plants ha-1, 111,111 plants ha-1 and 74,740 plants ha-1. Weed management options were no-hoeing, hoeing at 14-21 days after sowing, hoeing at 21-28 days after sowing and weed-free.
