Micro Finance In India And Porter's Five Forces Analysis Of Micro Finance Industry
Microfinance is the supply of loans, savings, and other basic financial services to the poor. Microfinance sector in India has grown rapidly in the past few years. This paper studies the role and the progress of microfinance in India with due emphasis on Microfinance crisis in Andhra Pradesh. Attempt has also been made to study Microfinance through Porter’s five forces analysis. This paper focuses on microcredit aspect of as micro credit is still the largest function of microfinance business in India.
