Vaccination uptake contributes significantly towards achievement of the 3rd sustainable development goals (SDG) targets. Therefore, the aim of the study was to determine the public perception regarding vaccination and the determinants influencing vaccination coverage and uptake. A descriptive cross-sectional household based, qualitative study design was used to obtain a clear picture of factors influencing vaccination uptake. Structured questionnaires were administered to mothers or caregivers to determine immunization coverage and uptake and factors influencing it.
