Models are management tools that mirror the organisational operation of a business. The intention to have a model to help evaluate best practice and ensure that what needs to be produced is produced according to a set standard, while bearing in mind that every individual involved will comply with that standard. Therefore, if the model is misleading, the organisation will continue to make mistakes and will not be able to produce the high quality service that is expected of them.
