A total of 150 people were randomly sampled from nine communities of the Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria to ascertain the impact of mangrove forest resource exploitation on their Social and Economic well-being. Data for demographic, social and economic importance of the mangrove forest to the Andoni people were generated by the use of questionnaires.
