This study examines whether is a long-run relationship between money supply activities and aggregate stock prices in Nigeria as well as the direction of causality between some selected money supply measures and aggregate stock prices from 1980-2012 Employing the Engle-Granger and Johansen-Joselius method of co-integration in a VECM setting, in addition to Granger causality Test. Annual time series data was sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) statistical bulletin and Stock Exchange Fact book.
