Tourism has emerged as a vital sector for economic growth and cultural exchange in West Africa. Despite their abundant natural and cultural resources, both The Gambia and Nigeria face unique challenges and opportunities in developing their tourism industries. This study aims to comparatively analyze the tourism landscapes of The Gambia and Nigeria, exploring the underlying factors influencing their growth trajectories. The research identifies persistent problems such as inadequate infrastructure, policy instability, and security concerns, which hinder the optimization of tourism potentials.
