The assessment of growth performance in hybrid cocoa seeds is crucial in determining the optimal growth media for their successful cultivation. In this study, a Randomized Complete Block Design with three treatments and three replications were employed. The three treatments included topsoil control (100v), topsoil + sawdust (50:50v), and topsoil + poultry manure (50:50v). The growth parameters assessed were plant height, plant girth, leaf number, and leaf area. The experiment aimed at investigating the effects of different growth media on the growth performance of hybrid cocoa seeds. The growth parameters were measured and recorded.
