Assessment Of Youth Involvement In Coffee Production Activities In Kogi State, Nigeria
The study examined youth Involvement in coffee production activities in Kogi State, Nigeria. A multistage sampling procedure was used to select 52 respondents for the study. Data for the study were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyze with descriptive statistics such as: frequency counts and percentages and Chi-square analysis. The result revealed that 53.85% were male, 69.23% were single while greater percentage (78.83%) of the respondents are between the age of 11-30years. Fourteen major activities were identified as the most frequently coffee production activities being carried out by farmers in the study area.
