A research paper about fungicidal action of hydrogen peroxide towards conidiospores of brown rot on orchard trees (Monilia fructigena). The conducted trials prove that 30 % (v/v) water solutions of the substance can completely disintegrate the spores of the plant pathogen. However such concentration of the hydrogen peroxide can be extremely phytotoxic to the most of the orchard plants. But the tests show that peaches can tolerate it without any phytotoxic damages. In this aspect hydrogen peroxide can be effective, relatively cheap and safe for humans and the environment fungicide towards brown rot on peaches, plus zero resistance risk due to its application.
