This study was carried out to assess various factors influencing forest resources exploitation and utilization by rural households in Benue State, Nigeria. A well structured interview schedule was used purposively to collect information from 300 eligible respondents in the study area. Multiple regression model was used to empirically quantity the 8 socio-economic variables that influenced forest resources exploitation on the livelihood of rural households.
