The importance of ethics in the field of accounting cannot be undermined. This paper focuses on the need of nurturing ethics in the accounting profession, especially in the developing country of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates. The aim of this research paper is to evaluate the current situation of the role of accounting ethics in the UAE and to assess the need for fostering accounting ethics in the corporate world.
