This paper analyses all the aspects of why the Indus/Harappan civilisation collapsed, these reasons cover all aspects of what is essential to a society including environmental reasons, reasons related to migration, abandonment, availability of food and economic elements, and how they may have contributed to its decline. While there have been several factors contributing to its decline, no one factor is held responsible, so its imperative that we must take into consideration all aspects of the civilisation and why they were important.
