This study investigated the factors that influence amount of credit utilized by small scale farmers in Southern part of Plateau state Nigeria. Primary data were collected using simple random sampling from 175 small scale farmers using structured questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Result of the analysis indicated that age, farm size, output, farming experience, educational level and family size with coefficients -0.022, 40.52, 8.15, 0.04, 0.31 and 1.90 respectively have significant influences on the amount of credit utilized by the farmers. Age with coefficient of -0.022 had negative but significant influence on amount of credit utilized at 5%
