Effects Of  Improved Soybean Technology On Yields Of Some Selected Crops In Southern Parts Of Borno And Kaduna States, Nigeria
The study used t-test and OLS to analyze the effects of improved soybean variety on yields of some selected crops in  Borno and Kaduna states. Results showed that households in Tropical Legume II (TL II) communities obtained higher yield from cereals. This is an implication that, soybean has improved soil fertility and increase the yield of cereal crops of the TL II participants.  The result  revealed that  factors influencing yield  include age, educational level, sex, farm size, credit,  farming experience, information and participation in TL II  were  all positive and significant (P<0.05). The non-TL II farmers  should copy from  the TL II participants.
