The Effects Of Financial Leverage On Financial Performance Of Listed Companies At The Nairobi Securities Exchange In Kenya
This research sought to analyze and understand the effects of financial leverage on the financial performance of mining companies listed at the Nairobi Securities Exchange. It analyzed the relationship between financial leverage and earnings per share as a measure of performance of this sector. It also looked at the relationship between earnings before interest and taxes and earnings per share. Pearson correlation analysis was used to test correlation of data. It also examined how earnings capacity of this sector was affected by fixed financial charges.
