Relationship Between Household Food Access And Feeding Habits
Access to food is an essential component of good nutrition, health and well-being. Knowledge of the relationships between feeding and food access can contribute to forward planning to avert food security hazards. This study analyzed the relationship between household food access and feeding in two different potential zones in Kenya. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical data package for social sciences version 17. Pearson correlation analysis indicated a significant relationship between variables on feeding i.e. average number of meals eaten in a day (.262), quantity of food eaten (.198), resources for cooking (.274) and Household dietary food diversity (.227).
