A Study Of Teachers And Students Perception Of Headmasters Leadership Effectiveness In Senior Secondary Schools In The Akuapem North District Of The Eastern Region Of
The study was conducted to investigate teachers’ and students’ perception on headmasters’ leadership effectiveness in some Senior High Schools (SHS) in Ghana. A total of 213 students and 35 teachers randomly selected from 6 SHS in the Akuapem North District of the Eastern Region of Ghana were used for the study. The design for the study was the descriptive survey. The instrument used was a questionnaire which included a 5-point Likert Scale. Two main hypotheses were formulated. The chi-square (X2) test of significance was used as the main statistical tool for the study. The hypotheses were tested at the 0.05 alpha level.
