The study examined savings among small holder farmers in Awka Agricultural Zone of Anambra State Nigeria. Specifically, it described the socio economic characteristics of the small holder farmer methods and motives for saving, estimated annual farm and non-farm incomes of the farmers, determined the influence of respondents’ socio-economic factors on savings; determined annual savings and expenditure and identified constraints to savings.
