An experiment was set up to investigate the effect different levels of NPK 20; 10; 10 on the chemical quality of the grain of Oba on an ultisol in Abakaliki Southeast Nigeria. The experiment was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management, Ebonyi State University. The treatments comprised of four levels of NPK20:10:10 (0 kg.ha-1, 750 kg.ha-1, 1500 kg.ha-1 and 2000 kg.ha-1) represented as T1, T2, T3, and T4 respectively. The experiment was replicated five times and Oba 98 was used as test crop.
