Education has used a traditional delivery system where interaction between students and teacher was considered an essential element in learning. However, advance in IT and innovations in educational delivery have challenged this paradigm by ushering in new delivery methods, online and distance education, which are being adopted as the next logical step in education systems, especially in response to Covid-19.
Bridging Gaps In Rwanda’s Higher Education: A Strategic Analysis Of Program Availability, Delivery Models, And Regional Competitiveness
This study analyzes Rwanda's higher education system, identifying critical gaps in program offerings, delivery modes, and regional competitiveness. Rwanda's gross tertiary enrollment ratio is approximately 8%, indicating that only about 8% of the eligible population is enrolled in tertiary education, which is low compared to other African nations. Most institutions and students are concentrated in undergraduate programs, with postgraduate (Master's/PhD)
