An Investigation Of The Causal Link Between Ethical Leadership And Employee Prosocial Behaviour
The debate on how ethical leadership affect prosocial behaviour of employees has extensively been discussed in studies of organisational behaviour. Most studies have found statistical positive relationship between ethical leadership and employee prosocial behaviour. However, little has been said about the possible causal relationship between these two organisational concepts. This study investigates the causal relationship between ethical leadership and employee prosocial behaviour with the help of theoretical propositions. The research uses the signalling and the social learning theories to derive hypothesis.
