Productivity Of Pregnant Maradi Goats Managed At Different Trimester Stages Under Semi-intensive System
Background: Goats play an important socio-economic role in the rural areas, where most of the resource poor farmers in Africa live. But, ruminant production is jeopadised by poor management system. Information on practicable management system that support optimum production in goat rearing especially at gestation stage in Ibadan needs to be well ascertained. . Therefore, the suitability of semi intensive system in increasing better production especially to recover pregnant goats at different trimester stages found in market will be investigated. Materials and Methods: Fifty suspected Pregnant Maradi Goats (PMG) were bought and checked for pregnancy using DW-600 scanner.
