Constraints To Rural Households’ Forest Resources Exploitation And Utilization Activities In Benue State, Nigeria
The study was carried out to assess the constraints to households' forest resources exploitation and utilization activities in Benue State, Nigeria. A well structured interview schedule was used to purposively elicit information from 300 eligible respondents in the study area. The study revealed that: poor credit incentives (86.7%), poor households' financial resources (83.3%), poor transportation means (80.0%), and crude nature of forest resources exploitation equipment (78.3%), and poor road networks (77.0%) were identified as the major constraints to households constraints to forest resources exploitation and utilization activities in the study area.DownloadViews: 8
