Rice is produced in smaller quantities in the Savelugu-Nanton District. It generates high financial returns in years of favourable marketing system. However, its marketing has always produced serious challenges to the local farmers. It has been realized that agricultural commodity marketing, and the marketing of rice for that matter, does not give a fair returns to the farmers due to marketing constraints that affect its production. The study aimed to find out how marketing constraints affect rice production in Savelugu-Nanton District, and to investigate farmers own effort in overcoming these constraints. Download
