Insecticide Spray Regime And Plant Distance Effect On Cowpea (vigna Unguiculata L. Walp) Growth And Yield In Forest-transitionzone Of Ghana
Two field trials were carried out for two years at the crop research fields, College of Agriculture Education, Asante Mampong, University of Education, Winneba between May and July, 2016 and 2017 respectively to evaluate varietal response of cowpea [(i) Asontem and (ii) Hans Adua] to planting distance [ (i) 50 x 20 cm (ii) 60 x 20 cm] and insecticide spray regime [ (i) 2 sprays (ii) 3 sprays (iii) no spray (control)] in forest-transition zone of Ghana. The experimental design was a 2 x 2 x 3 factorial arranged in randomized complete block design with three replications.
