Spatial Assessment Of Gully Erosion In Calabar Metropolis, Cross River State, Nigeria
The study aimed to spatially assess the gully erosion menace in Calabar, Metropolis. The study focused on 6 major gullies that are found in the Metropolis. The assessment is timely due to the spade of the menace which causes untold havoc on the health, environment and socio-economic wellbeing of the residents. Data were sourced fromdirect field measurements and Landsat imageries. Spatial and statistical techniques were used to analyze the data.
