Economics Of Acha Production In Bauchi State, Nigeria
The study was carried out to examine the economics of acha production in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Purposive selection of the Local Government Areas was employed, while multistage random sampling was used to obtain 50 A respondents. Data were obtained from primary and secondary sources. Semi-structured questionnaire was used to elicit relevant information from the respondents. Descriptive statistics and Gross Margin Analysis were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that about 70% of the respondents were within the vibrant age range of 20 – 50 years. The mean house hold size was 8 persons.
