The purpose of this study was to assess the challenges faced by early childhood development and education (ECDE) Teachers in implementing the Early Childhood Development and Education Service Standard guidelines in public ECDE centres in Igembe South Sub-County. The objectives of the study were to assess the challenges faced by the (ECDE) Teachers in the implementation of the Early Childhood and Education Services Standard guidelines in public ECDE centers, to analyse the causes of these challenges and to examine the effects of implementing the ECDE Service Standard Guide lines.
