The Impact Of Government Policy On Poverty Reduction In Zimbabwe
The study covers an analysis of the policies that have been put in place to deal with poverty in Zimbabwe. The study made an analysis of the extent of the impact of land reform and indigenization policy on poverty reduction in Zimbabwe. It has been found that land reform and indigenization policies have impacted positively on the welfare of many people. It has also been found that the following factors influenced the level of poverty at household level and hence at aggregate level within the whole economy of Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean government can enhance development and reduce the effect of poverty by developing the agricultural base and strengthening the indigenization process.
